2026 Tillman Station Neighborhood Watch Meetings
Date: Last Tuesday of each month (Feb-Oct)
Time: 6:00 P.M
Location: Tillman Station, 426 Tillman St.

All community members are welcome at the meeting, where MPD representatives discuss current crime statistics, trends, and safety tips. (For instance: did you know MPD offers a Vacation Watch program where a patrol officer will drive by your house at least once each beat shift while you are out of town?)
Please email the EJCA Board at eastjoffre at gmail dot com if you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, including the Safety Committee and its Neighborhood Watch group.
The Neighborhood Watch Coordinator at Tillman Station can be reached at 901-636-3026.

It's Fall!: StoryWalk in East Joffre
The EJCA invites you to participate in our neighborhood's first StoryWalk® featuring the book, It's Fall! by Renee Kurilla.
Beginning September 21st, in time for the first day of autumn, you are invited to take a walk on Palisade and read the pages of this picture book that will be posted on yard signs at kid eye level in participating neighbors' yards. We plan to have this available until November 2.
Inspired by the StoryWalk® Project and its mission to promote early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature, the East Joffre Community Association's Arts Committee - with help from willing neighbors in the south block of Palisade - hopes this will be a family friendly activity that gets neighbors out together during the months of September and October.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library
NOTE From the Arts Committee: Thank you to the neighbors who volunteered time and donated money and materials to make this project debut happen! If you have questions or feedback or suggestions for future arts projects, please reach out to Laura (@memflag) at laura.mcartor@gmail.com.
